Nepal is Semi-colonial and Semi-Feudal country since about 200 years. The unequal treaties imposed by the East India Company and following by India restricted the industrial and independent development of Nepal. As the consequence of the Treaties the bureaucratic and comprador bourgeoisie established in power against the interest of Nepal and Nepalese people by the collaboration of Feudal state power and Imperialism /Expansionism. Said to be a treaty of peace and friendship, in reality this treaty is a black mark upon the name of peace and friendship. For Nepal it is humiliating and unequal.
